So how’s it done? Initially you can invite your existing friends to join the many millions of Mafia Wars users around the world. This may take some persuasion and also some time. For those of you who are keen to grow your mafia it’s time to go fishing!
Pimping
Social networking sites are riddled with Mafia Wars groups, just pop Mafia Wars in the search box and you’ll be amazed at the number of groups promising to increase your mafia quickly. Many of these sites enable you to invite your friends to join the group and also to post a small message asking users to ‘add me’. Friend requests will arrive on your page depending on how popular the Mafia Group is. Once these friend requests are accepted you may invite these users to join your mafia via the Mafia Wars application. This method is referred to as Pimping.
There are a limited number of Mafia War invites you may send within 24 hours using the Mafia Wars invite (up to 24). After exhausting all your recruit requests post a ‘Join my Family’ message on your and your friends’ wall. This enables your friends to join your mafia even if you are out of requests. This method of adding people has the potential to increase your Mafia Wars family very quickly, allowing you to fight and rob your way up the Mafia Wars levels in no time at all.

- Open a new email account eg Gmail or Yahoo (separate from your primary account)
- Add the newly created email to your social network settings (e.g. Facebook)
- Add your name on monkeytooth.net (mass email add for Mafia Wars)
